I wish I could have been there since time began and kept my youth as a 22 year old and seen everything and everyone and see every change that happened in time

Th Crimean War 1854-56 was the last time bearskin caps or busbies were worn on active service as far as I know.
If you look at the other movies here from the 2nd Boer War you’ll see that the British troops are in khaki and mostly wear pith helmets.
During the BOER WAR it was big news in the US and to get support for the Boers, re-enactments was done. This looks like a re-enactment of the time. Very interesting.
Another fact, the Boer war was the first war captured on film.
Busbys haven`t been worn in combat since we fought Napoleon.
Looks like autumn in North America and they’re in dark (probably red) coats. Not the light khaki ones worn during the war. They also didn’t wear glengarrys or busbees into combat.

meh, doesn’t look right. i don’t think edison went to africa. the location looks like where i grew up in new england.
The action civilization on the people of England said primitive societies was applied in a way that is extremely brutal matches in the Spanish conquest of the Americas, something that historically is unknown, simply for not having disclosure in the modern world; hope that the SA making movies and show their stories to the world, grateful for sharing
