Goddamn this video was made in the year I was born and it still amazes me. Epic song, epic performence from a real legend.
Can’t understand why all people wants to have
these kinds of commentary on this site!
Why don’t you all just listening to the music this
wonderfull man is playing.
He’s great, and always will be.
what are you retarded? mandela was TECHNICALLY a terrorist, but he was a freedom fighter for the end of apartheid in south africa. nelson mandela is a hero. he spent 27 years in prison refusing to sell out those he was aligned with, because he knew it would destroy his cause. if nelson mandela were nothing but a “terrorist” then most of the world would still be racially segregated. youre dead ignorant and to be perfectly honest, a fucking moron. you really should shut the fuck up.
Eric Clapton, kkkk, don’t have what do this music.
this guy play the guitar with soul, oh my god, without more coments, hehehe!!!
that comment was for you jamesrenshaw27 !!!!!
MORON!!!!!!!! You havn’t got a clue what your saying. Eric Clapton & Phil Colins also play with mark Knoffler. All 3 are legends.
check out the northern kings cover, i think its really good.
awsome
Out of hardship and struggle often come the most beautiful things. Perhaps one day we can all have the purity of heart Mandela has always shown, and then finally live as brothers without arms.
The point though, all that aside, is LOVE and PEACE
Haha, yeah right… How much money have you earned on your music? Nothing?…Ok that’s what I thought
fuck me he’s terrible on that guitar. What a fucking retard.
so true
Every terrorist is a freedom fighter to someone else.
Nelson gave so much for his beliefs that it’s so difficult not to honour and respect the man. He brought the gates of apartheid crashing down by his sacrifices. Not sure how many years in jail, well over 20 I believe. He never gave in and helped build the modern South Africa.
I prefere this song with a Les Paul
he seems to be emotional
Nelson Mandela was instrumental in ending the Apartheid, jackass. If ending racial segregation is terrorism to you, you’ve got some issues.
Nelson Mandela was nothing more than a terrorist. Just my opinion and Im sure to get some stick for it.
beautiful.. that’s why MK is the best guitarrist on the world.. his guitar seems to talk like a person
Dont forget Nelson Mandela, ” one humanity, one justice “
Yes, Real Music about Real Life….
dude you hit the nail on its head
I referred to Mr Mandela because MK was honouring Mr Mandela and his courage by playing at the Mandela Concert for Birthday. Peace and Love to all – that is MK’s message along with Mr Mandela.
this is somehow beyond music … it just touches you to the core ,, just basic and primal and beautiful and incredibly powerful … the lyrics alone would be a masterpiece , yet the music alone can be understood and FELT by anyone, in any culture
