  14. u say shit. daft punk are producers, they incorporated a plenty of musical influences into their music like 80’s chicago/acid house, electrofunk, synthpop, electro and created specific sound which was a great influence for both commercial and underground producers (see kanye). in this view chemical brothers are very similar – they also use samples and refer to good old hiphop and funk creating quite different sound. they are equally great icons of the 90’s avantgarde dance music.

  19. i really think they just play different genres of “techno”. I really think they are good on the stuff that they do and both are pioneers on their respective sectors as well, that is why you can’t really compare them, they are not of the same “field” per say.

  22. daft punk are french house dj’s. The chemical brothers are creative,innovative musical genius that inspire and enthrawl. its not a case of wether these 2 compare or not, they serve completetly different purposes.

    all said and done, chemical brothers are miles fucking better than daft punk!! hahaha
